Double Degree Program (DDP)

What is the Master’s Double Degree Program (DDP) at the Department of Urban Design and Architecture?

Kyushu University offers the Master’s Double Degree Program as part of the “University’s World Deployment Strengthening Project: CAMPUS Asia Program,” which was initiated in the academic year 2018. This program allows students to pursue degrees from both Kyushu University and either Pusan National University or Tongji University, depending on their study abroad destination – Pusan, South Korea, or Shanghai, China. The duration of the study abroad component can be either six months or one year, while students remain enrolled at Kyushu University. The program not only grants students the opportunity to earn master’s degrees from two distinguished universities in different countries but also equips them with valuable international skills through higher education abroad.

Do I have to pay school fees to both universities?

Fortunately, due to collaborative agreements between the participating universities, students are exempt from paying enrollment fees or tuition charges at the host institutions. Moreover, there is a possibility of receiving government subsidies or scholarships. However, it is essential to note that specific conditions apply for scholarship disbursement. For further details, please refer to the CAMPUS Asia office.
