In the Sustainable Design Camp 2025, the objective was to propose methods and designs for the seaside area and the river, particularly in the western part of Hakata Bay. This assignment tasks students to consider various perspectives, including activities, visitors, and daily life. They identified attractions and issues, solved them, and enhanced environmental sustainability and citizen satisfaction.
During the workshop, 97 students from nine universities were divided into nine groups of diverse backgrounds and nationalities to collaborate on creating urban design ideas, compile their proposals through Desk Critiques, and present them in the Final Presentation.
