INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL COURSES<\/h2>\n

Our doctoral degree is based on research in various disciplines related to the built environment. You can pursue your doctoral research in architecture, urban design, urban planning, building structures, building environment, or disaster management with the Department of Architecture, Urban Design and Urban Planning, and Disaster Management. We provide ample resources for you to conduct your research in English.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

INTERNATIONAL MASTER\u2019S COURSES<\/h2>\n

Our master\u2019s program is an interdisciplinary course taught in English. You will need to fulfill your graduation requirements by taking classes only in English. This course is a joint effort of the Department of Architecture and the Department of Urban Design, Planning and Disaster Management. You can choose to conduct your research in any of these departments while following the courses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This course aims to equip you with practical and theoretical skills in sustainable urban design and planning. Our curriculum includes independent research, sustainable design theory, sustainable design analysis methods, design studios and seminars.<\/p>\n

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMS (DDP)<\/h2>\n

\n

The Department of Architecture and the Department of Urban Design, Planning and Disaster Management offers Double Degree Programs in collaboration with Tongji University and Pusan National University. These programs are open to master’s students enrolled in any of the three universities. By completing these programs, students can obtain two degrees from different institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

To earn the Double Degree Program at Pusan National University, Kyushu University students need to study abroad for one semester at Pusan National University. To earn the Double Degree Program at Tongji University, Kyushu University students need to study abroad for one year at Tongji University. The duration of the Double Degree Program with Pusan National University is two years, while the duration of the Double Degree Program with Tongji University is three years.<\/p>\n

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS<\/h2>\n

We are accepting exchange students from universities where we have exchange agreements under various programs. Exchange students are welcome for from one semester to one full year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

SUMMER SCHOOL AND URBAN DESIGN WORKSHOPS<\/h2>\n

The Sustainable Design Camp is an annual summer urban design workshop at the Ito campus of Kyushu University. It\u2019s a program organized by multiple international Universities form China, Korea, Taiwan, and US.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
